Ammunition was stolen from the Special Operations Branch Directorate's warehouse in Adana. Following the incident, 11 people were apprehended during the investigation. In a statement made by the governor's office, it was noted that "no evidence has been found regarding the allegations of the sale of the said ammunition to the Bayğaralar armed criminal organization."
The Adana Governorship announced that 11 suspects have been detained in connection with the theft of ammunition from the Emniyet Müdürlüğü's warehouse, and that no evidence has been found regarding the allegations of the stolen ammunition being sold to the Bayğaralar armed criminal organization.
THEY STOLE AMMUNITION FROM THE SPECIAL OPERATIONS WAREHOUSE
Ammunition and weapons were stolen from the warehouse of the Special Operations Branch of the Adana Provincial Police Department. Following the incident, 11 individuals were apprehended during the initiated operation.
11 PEOPLE IN CUSTODY
After the allegations that the ammunition was sold to the Bayğaralar armed criminal organization, the Adana Governorship made a written statement. The statement included the following: "In accordance with the instructions of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the theft of various ammunition from the warehouse of the Special Operations Branch of the Provincial Police Department; a comprehensive investigation and inquiry has been initiated to capture the perpetrators identified as committing the crime of 'Embezzlement and Arms-Ammunition Trafficking.' As a result of the conducted operations, a total of 11 individuals identified as having carried out the incident have been apprehended and taken into custody.
"NO TRACE OF BAYĞARALAR FOUND"
During the searches conducted at the residences, workplaces, and vehicles of the suspects, ammunition registered in the inventory of the Provincial Police Department was seized. No evidence has been found regarding the allegations circulating in the media and social media about the 'sale of the said ammunition to the Bayğaralar armed criminal organization.' Judicial and administrative investigations that have been initiated are being conducted comprehensively."
