A traffic accident occurred in Bursa during the night hours, where a vehicle that lost control crashed into iron barriers and flew into a bushy area. The barriers that broke off due to the impact fell onto two vehicles joining the road.
JUMPING OVER THE IRON BARRIERS, FLEW INTO THE CONNECTING ROAD
The accident happened around 00:00, when a van with license plate 37 KH 775, driven by Ömer Ö., was traveling on the old Gemlik road towards Demirtaş road and lost control of the steering wheel. The vehicle, which was moving in the left lane, collided with a car with license plate 34 GMM 878, driven by Ercan K., which was traveling in the right lane. After the collision, the van with license plate 37 KH 775, which lost control, veered off the road, crashed into the iron barriers, flew over the connecting road, and was thrown into the bushy area. At that moment, the iron barriers that broke off fell onto a car with license plate 34 DLB 226, driven by Emre Ş., which was joining from 11 September Boulevard towards Demirtaş road. It was learned that the broken barriers also struck a car with license plate 16 CZV 10, driven by Berkant G., which was traveling on the same route.
IT WAS LEARNED THAT THE VEHICLE DID NOT HAVE INSURANCE AND INSPECTION
Many police teams, ambulances, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene following reports made by nearby citizens and drivers. While material damage occurred in the vehicles during the accident, fortunately, no one was injured. In the initial assessment regarding the incident, it was learned that the van with license plate 37 KH 775 did not have insurance and inspection. The investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
