Bostancı, in his speech before the prayer, stated that Hıdırlık Hill is an important place, saying, "When the Turks came to Anatolia, it is recorded that they reached Safranbolu as the first settlement place. They settled here, came here for the first time, and held Hıdırellez programs here. All the rain prayers held in history have been made here. We are in a place that has an important place in our culture and history."
