In Osmaniye, 10 arrests were made in the case of sexual abuse of a 14-year-old girl.

A 14-year-old girl sought refuge with the police in the Düziçi district of Osmaniye and reported that she had been sexually abused by men living in the district. Of the 18 individuals alleged to have sexually abused the 14-year-old girl, 10 were arrested. The police took action after receiving a report that the girl had been subjected to sexual abuse in the Düziçi district. Accompanied by a psychologist, the child provided the names of the 18 individuals she claimed had sexually abused her.

10 PEOPLE ARRESTED

The 18 suspects named by the child were detained 4 days ago through a joint operation by the police and gendarmerie. After E.B. (14) reported to the police that she had been sexually abused, an investigation was initiated by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. As part of the investigation, 18 suspects were detained. After their procedures at the police station, 10 of the suspects were arrested and the others were released under judicial control.
