In Pendik, a dispute over "right of way" between a car driver and a motorcyclist escalated into violence. The car driver was stabbed in the back by the motorcyclist's brother while getting into his vehicle. The driver lost his life, and a witness stated, "The man held his neck and said, 'Take me to the hospital.'"

At around 15:30 in the Pendik district of Istanbul, a terrifying incident occurred in traffic. According to reports, Turan Yılmaz, who was with his wife and disabled son, had a "right of way" argument with a motorcyclist named Y.S. while driving his car.

STABBED IN THE BACK DURING A RIGHT OF WAY FIGHT

The argument between the two quickly escalated into a fight. Turan Yılmaz attacked the motorcyclist with a stick he took from his vehicle. Y.S. responded with punches. After the fight ended with the intervention of local residents, the parties clashed again shortly after. A.S., who was later involved in the fight and is claimed to be Y.S.'s brother, stabbed Turan Yılmaz in the back with a knife and then fled. Despite all medical interventions, Turan Yılmaz died in the hospital. The police apprehended the fleeing suspects.

Eyüp Mecerek, a local shopkeeper who witnessed the events, stated, "The man had a disabled child. He was taking him for a ride in the car. Then a fight broke out outside. I heard shouting. The man was hit with a helmet, and his wife was with him. He took a metal object and chased after him, then I heard shouting from outside. I ran to see. The man was getting into the car when he was stabbed in the neck from behind. He held his neck and said, 'Get me to the hospital,'" he said. Meanwhile, the events were captured on security cameras second by second.
