CHP COUNCIL MEMBER STABBED IN THE BACK
A dispute broke out between Adalar CHP Council Member Ahmet Tanay Garip (34) and Turan Y. (44), who was previously known to be a council member candidate from the same party, on İskele Street. As the argument escalated, Garip was stabbed in the back and injured.
REASON FOR THE FIGHT IS A GRUDGE FROM LOCAL ELECTIONS
Garip was taken to Göztepe Prof. Dr. Süleyman Yalçın City Hospital after the intervention of health teams dispatched to the scene upon notification. The suspect Turan Y. was detained by police. It was determined that the fight occurred due to a grudge from the previous local elections.
