The funeral of 18-year-old Mehmet Ali Dertli, who lost his life in a fight allegedly caused by a girl issue in Sakarya, was held. The funeral prayer was led by the Mufti of Hendek, Murtaza Gür, who said, "We are in a pitiful state, we are in a state of crying. As the mufti of this town, me, us, all of us, everyone living in Hendek is responsible for this if a child of this age is being killed. May Allah grant us the ability to take responsibility and find a solution."

Hendek Mufti Murtaza Gür, who performed the funeral prayer, said, "We are in a pitiful state" and added, "If a child of this age is killed, as the mufti, we, all of us, everyone living in Hendek is responsible for this. DESPITE ALL INTERVENTIONS, HE COULD NOT BE SAVED
Yesterday evening, two groups clashed with each other in a fight allegedly caused by a girl issue. Knives were drawn during the fight involving a total of 7 young people, including Mehmet Ali Dertli, A.Y., A.C.D., and E.Ü. Mehmet Ali Dertli, who was seriously injured in the fight, could not be saved despite all interventions and lost his life. It was reported that 2 of the injured were being treated in intensive care and 4 suspects were detained.

Mehmet Ali Dertli's funeral prayer was performed by Hendek Mufti Murtaza Gür at Yeni Mosque. Expressing his feelings before the funeral prayer, Gür said, "We are in a pitiful state, a state worth crying. A young man leaves such a world to us, a society where children of this age can be killed. This is a society formed by me, us, you, all of us. If a child of this age is killed in a society, as the mufti, we, all of us, everyone living in Hendek is responsible for this. May Allah grant us the ability to take responsibility and find a solution. May He grant us wisdom and ideas."
