The leader of the İYİ Party, Müsavat Dervişoğlu, made a speech that raised tensions during the extraordinary session on Gaza in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Speaking while looking at the MHP benches, Dervişoğlu said, "The Turkish nation, which has inspired the independence of many nations, has always been like this. I say Turkish nation; I hope you are not disturbed, God willing."
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey convened under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş, to address Israel's attacks on Gaza, the genocide and oppression of the Palestinian people, the policies of famine, and the current situation in the region.
Speaker of the Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş reacted to Israel's attacks on Gaza, proposing the suspension of their memberships in international organizations, including the UN.
GOOD PARTY LEADER ANNOYS MHP MEMBERS
When it was the turn of the party leaders to speak, words that raised the tension among the MHP ranks came from the leader of the Good Party, Müsavat Dervişoğlu.
