The Portuguese giant Benfica announced that an agreement has been reached for the transfer of the 26-year-old national player Kerem Aktürkoğlu to Fenerbahçe.

In Benfica's transfer announcement, it was stated that a preliminary agreement has been reached with Fenerbahçe, and it was noted that "Galatasaray has the right of first refusal and has been informed." The statement added, "A preliminary agreement has been reached regarding the transfer of Kerem Aktürkoğlu with Fenerbahçe Club. The agreement foresees a definitive transfer fee of 22.5 million Euros and the addition of a variable fee based on targets. Therefore, the total transfer fee may reach 25 million Euros. Additionally, it should be noted that Galatasaray has the right of first refusal and has been informed about these conditions."
REJECTED GALATASARAY
The announcement drew attention to Benfica's notification to Galatasaray.
