In the extraordinary session on Gaza at the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated, "We are against any plan that envisions the displacement of the Palestinian people from Gaza. Regardless of who presents such a plan, it is null and void for us."

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey convened under the chairmanship of the Speaker of the Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş, to address Israel's attacks on Gaza, the genocide and oppression it has inflicted on the Palestinian people, its policies of famine, and the current situation in the region.

Speaker of the Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş reacted to Israel's attacks on Gaza, proposing the suspension of their memberships in international organizations, including the UN. Following Kurtulmuş's speech, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan took the podium, stating that Israel continues its state terrorism and made striking remarks.

MINISTER FIDAN'S IMPACTFUL SPEECH TO THE ASSEMBLY

Key points from Minister Fidan's statements are as follows: "Israel is taking advantage of the conditions in the regional countries to carry out military interventions beyond its borders, attempting to depopulate the region and design it with a strategy to make it uninhabitable. The real issue behind the tragedy in Gaza is that the order established after World War II no longer responds to today's challenges; it has failed.

The international community agrees on the need for the UN and local NGOs to take charge of aid distribution, while Israel has prevented the distribution of aid, causing thousands of our Palestinian brothers to lose their lives, using hunger as a weapon. Recently, in retaliation for some countries' decisions to recognize Palestine, the Netanyahu government has increased its new illegal settlement projects, attacks on the ground, and initiatives that will lead the Palestinian administration to financial bankruptcy.

"WE OPPOSE THE PLAN THAT FORESEES THE EXPULSION OF PALESTINIANS FROM GAZA"

Israel has clearly shown that it does not want a stable, strong, nationally united, and territorially intact Syria by provoking sensitive points in Syria. We oppose any plan that foresees the expulsion of the Palestinian people from Gaza. Such a plan is null and void for us, regardless of who presents it. Our contacts with Qatar and Egypt continue to ensure a lasting ceasefire. Israel does not want any legitimate Palestinian administration in Gaza. Israel is blocking the distribution of aid. It is using hunger as a weapon. This is not a natural disaster. Israel's state terrorism continues.

The tension between Israel and Iran poses a risk to the entire region. We have cut all commercial ties with Israel. No other country has severed all commercial ties with Israel. Despite the painful situation in Gaza, thanks to our stance against oppression, Western countries have begun to adopt the two-state solution. Countries, including the UK and France, have announced their decision to recognize the state of Palestine. Thanks to our efforts, Israel's false legitimacy has collapsed. The magnitude of the atrocities has unmasked the situation. The West has been forced to engage in a moral reckoning. We continue our contacts with countries like Spain and Ireland.

"ISRAEL'S ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO MAKE GAZA UNINHABITABLE"

We attach importance to ensuring that Israel's crimes do not go unpunished. Israel's ultimate goal is to make Gaza uninhabitable. The aim is to force Gazans to leave the region. If Israel is allowed to continue its reckless attacks, especially in Gaza and throughout Palestine, it will not only affect the Palestinians but will set the entire region on fire.

We do not want anyone in our region to suffer. Israel has become the biggest obstacle to this vision. The dream of a Greater Israel is a regional disaster. As long as the Netanyahu government is not restrained, the Middle East will not find peace. The foundation of peace and security in the Middle East lies in the Palestine-Israel issue. The two-state solution is the only way. Every oppressor ultimately prepares their own end. As Turkey, we will continue to be the guiding North Star.
