Narin Güran, who was found dead in a stream bed 19 days after going missing in Diyarbakır, had her trial's second day marked by former Diyarbakır Bar Association President Nahit Eren's statements directed at Narin's brother, Baran Güran. Following these remarks, their father, Arif Güran, fell ill and was taken to the hospital.

On the second day of the trial that began yesterday at the Heavy Penal Court, the detained defendants were brought to the Diyarbakır Courthouse with prison transport vehicles under strict security measures from the Diyarbakır Penal Institutions Campus. Those attending the hearing were allowed into the courtroom after being searched at two separate points in front of the courthouse and inside.

The detained defendants, uncle Salim, mother Yüksel, and brother Enes Güran, along with Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed during the investigation that he hid Narin's lifeless body in the Eğertutmaz Stream, and their lawyers were present at the hearing.

FATHER GÜRAN WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL

The second day of the trial began with the testimonies of witnesses. In today's hearing, brother Baran Güran is being heard as a witness. After the former president of the Diyarbakır Bar Association, Nahit Eren, told brother Baran Güran, "As a father of three children, I am after the killer of fragrant Narin. That’s why I didn’t show your brother to you in forensic medicine, so you wouldn’t smell that scent, and so you could remain with that pleasant scent," father Arif Güran had a nervous breakdown and was taken out of the courtroom. Father Güran, who was taken to the ambulance, was transported to the hospital.
