STUDENTS TRIED TO PROTECT THEIR FRIEND
The incident occurred the day before at Mavi Göl Primary School in the Süphan neighborhood of Edremit. During recess in the schoolyard, students were playing with snowballs. At that time, a snowball allegedly thrown by 3rd-grade student M.Y. hit another student's face. Upon learning about their child's situation, the parent came to the school and approached M.Y. in the corridor. The parent used violence against the small child. Other students in the corridor tried to pull their friend away from the parent.
NEITHER PARTY FILED A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE OTHER
In the security camera footage, it was seen that the parent quickly walked down the corridor and assaulted the student, while the other children watched the incident with great fear and tried to save their friend. It was learned that neither party filed a complaint against the other regarding this incident.
