In a street interview conducted in Bursa, those who answered the question "Should working hours be reduced?" complained about long working hours and expressed the need for supervision of 12-14 hour shifts. It was also mentioned that people cannot allocate enough time for rest and social life along with overtime. It was stated that reducing working hours to 6-7 hours can increase productivity and contribute to a healthier lifestyle for employees. WORKING HOURS AND WOMENSome citizens stated that women especially struggle to balance work and home life. Many people said that working 4 days a week is ideal and the daily working hours should be limited to 6-8 hours. The need to allocate time for home and family life was emphasized. EMPLOYMENT AND SHIFT SYSTEM SUGGESTIONSSome participants argued that reducing working hours could decrease the unemployment rate. It was suggested that the shift system would provide employment for more people and make the workforce more efficient. The suggestion for women's working hours to end at 3:00 PM and not work on weekends was also popular.
