A 60-year-old man named Mustafa Ayran, who was assaulted in front of a restaurant in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, passed away despite being taken to the hospital. Three people have been detained in connection with the incident, and two of them have been arrested.
Mustafa Ayran, a 60-year-old man from Küçükkuyu, a town in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, passed away two days ago after allegedly being assaulted and then collapsing at a restaurant he went to. Two of the three suspects involved in the assault have been arrested and sent to prison.
FOUGHT WITH A GROUP TWO DAYS AGO
Mustafa Ayran, who went to a restaurant to eat two days ago in Küçükkuyu, Ayvacık district, allegedly fought with a group outside the restaurant. After being assaulted during the fight, Ayran entered the restaurant and sat at a table. Afterward, those in the restaurant reported the situation to the 112 emergency call center when Ayran began to feel unwell. Despite the interventions of the medical teams that arrived at the scene, Ayran could not be revived.
2 PEOPLE ARRESTED, 1 PERSON WANTED
Following the incident, the Ayvacık District Gendarmerie Command teams launched a large-scale investigation. The gendarmerie teams detained three individuals alleged to have been involved in the fight. Two of the three suspects were arrested for aiding and abetting a criminal. One person alleged to have been involved in the fight is still wanted.
