The EFT and money transfer fees applied by banks have been redefined for 2026 based on the inflation rate of the previous year. With the new regulation, which has also raised the fee brackets, the EFT fee for the lowest bracket has increased to 8.37 TL; for transactions between 8,300 TL and 399,000 TL, a fee of 16.76 TL will apply, while a ceiling fee of 209.38 TL will be applied for transfers exceeding this amount. The new tariff will be effective from February.
As part of the regulation, not only the fees but also the transaction amount brackets have been revised upwards. According to information provided by industry sources, the previously varying bracket range between 6,300 TL and 304,800 TL has been moved to a new range of 8,300 TL to 399,000 TL.
IT COMES INTO EFFECT IN FEBRUARY
According to the updated tariff, the lowest fee item for money transfers between different banks has also increased. Accordingly, the lower bracket EFT fee, which was applied at 6.40 TL in 2025, has been raised to 8.37 TL for the year 2026. It has been reported that the new fees will be valid starting from February.
2026 EFT CEILING FEES
After the new regulation, the ceiling fees to be applied according to the brackets are listed as follows:
- The EFT fee for money transfers up to 8,300 TL has been set at 8.37 TL.
- For transactions between 8,300 TL and 399,000 TL, the commission amount will be 16.76 TL.
- For transfers exceeding 399,000 TL, the fee to be charged will be 209.38 TL.
The regulation establishes the upper limit determining the cost of money transfers for banks, while in practice, banks will continue to charge below these amounts.
