New details have emerged in the drug investigation involving Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the former Editor-in-Chief of Habertürk, who has been arrested. According to witness statements, many figures from the business world attended the parties held at Ersoy's home in Seyrantepe, where drug use was prevalent. The statement also included claims that the drugs were obtained from five different dealers.

New details have emerged from the drug investigation in which Habertürk's former Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Akif Ersoy was arrested, based on witness statements. The statements included in the prosecutor's file described how drugs were obtained at house parties and who was present in these environments.

WITNESS STATEMENT EMERGED IN THE INVESTIGATION

According to a report in Sabah, a person who testified as a witness in the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office claimed that several individuals from the business world frequently visited Mehmet Akif Ersoy's bachelor apartment located in Seyrantepe, next to Vadi Istanbul. The witness alleged that many people attended the parties held at this apartment.

CLAIM OF "NO ONE LEFT THE HOUSE"

In the witness statement, it was noted that Mehmet Akif Ersoy's birthday celebration, which tested positive, was also held at this house, where he met individuals named E.A. and D.Y. The witness claimed that there was a bedroom covered with mirrors in the house, asserting that this environment was the center of the parties.

DRUGS FROM 5 DIFFERENT DEALERS

The witness stated that drug use was common at such house parties, claiming that most participants arrived already having used drugs. It was specifically alleged that at a party at the home of a woman named S.S., Ersoy used drugs after going back and forth to another room. The statement also included the claim that drugs were obtained from 5 different dealers.

DETAIL OF AVOIDING PHONE TRACKING

According to the witness's statement, it was suggested that when ordering drugs, the participants avoided using their own phones and instead contacted each other through the phones of different friends to avoid being tracked. It was also claimed that drug orders were placed at some entertainment venues.

The witness mentioned that among the individuals who frequently visited the house were Mustafa Manaz and Ufuk Tetik, who were arrested in the investigation, as well as A.G. and M.K. from Ersoy's friend group. It was learned that 4 of the 8 suspects detained in the investigation were arrested, while the other 4 were released under judicial control.

In the prosecutor's investigation, it was claimed that Mehmet Akif Ersoy traveled to Barcelona with some of his friends, where drugs were also used in a similar manner and some relationships were formed.
