During the drainage work of accumulated water on the road in the Konak district of Izmir, a cargo company employee bit off the ear of a subcontractor employee working for IZSUs who asked him to move his vehicle from the area. The incident was captured by security cameras, and the suspect who was taken into custody was arrested.
In the Alsancak neighborhood of the Konak district of İzmir, N.G., an employee of a subcontractor company affiliated with İZSU, requested the removal of a cargo vehicle due to the accumulation of water caused by heavy rain.
BITTEN HIS EAR OFF
As a result, a dispute broke out between N.G. and E.P., an employee of the cargo company. Bystanders intervened to separate the parties. However, N.G. went to the municipal vehicle and returned with a hard object. E.P. approached from behind and bit N.G.'s ear as he attempted to hit him with the object in his hand.
FOUND IN THE WATER PUDDLE ON THE ROAD
While part of N.G.'s ear was bitten off, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The piece of N.G.'s severed ear was found in the water puddle on the road.
ARRESTED
E.P., who fled after the incident, was quickly caught by the police teams. While N.G. was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment, E.P. was arrested by the court to which he was brought after his procedures at the police station.

Meanwhile, the altercation between the parties was captured by the security camera of a nearby business. It was stated that the investigation regarding the incident is ongoing.
