"THEY DID NOT LET ME SEE MY MOTHER" The statement of Mustafa Mutlu, who killed his brother, also emerged. In his statement, Mutlu said, "There were occasional disputes between my younger brother and me due to property sharing. My brother would sometimes insult me over the phone. The evening before the incident, I went to the hospital where my mother was due to her illness. The doctor told me that my mother's health condition was hopeless and that her children who wanted to could come and see her. My uncle had told me this. When I went to the hospital, my sister Zeynep E., with whom I had a feud, was at my mother's side. My sister did not want to show me my mother by not letting me into my mother's room. I saw my mother by getting permission from the nurse. My mother's condition was very bad. I was saddened by her state, and my psychology was disturbed," it was learned.
"MY BROTHER DID NOT GIVE ME HALF THE MONEY FOR THE APARTMENT" In the continuation of his statement, Mutlu said, "About a year ago, an apartment was left to me and my brother Mehmet Mutlu from my father. We were co-owners of this apartment. Later, we gave the apartment to our sister Zeynep Erdoğmuş. I gave this apartment to my sister because I was waiting for a lottery draw to get an apartment; however, no apartment came out of the draw. I asked my brother Mehmet Mutlu for half of the apartment. This time, Mehmet Mutlu claimed that he had given me half the money for this apartment, thus violating my rights. My sister also did not return half of the apartment to me in agreement with Mehmet Mutlu. We had occasional disputes and fell out over this issue, and we had not spoken for more than a year. Before my mother passed away, they did not let me see her because she stayed with my sister Zeynep. I was very upset about this situation. They also got a restraining order against me and had me sentenced to 3-4 days in jail. They never let me see my mother. Even though my mother was illiterate, they prevented her from meeting with me. I was very angry about this situation, but I could not find a solution," he said.
"I ALWAYS WALK AROUND WITH A BULLET IN MY MOUTH" Mustafa Mutlu said, "They did not inform me of my mother's death. I learned about my mother's death after the message from our village association. After my mother passed away in the hospital, I said, 'They will come to the mosque anyway. I will show them their day.' The funeral prayer was held at the mosque. My mother was placed in the funeral car. At that moment, I drew the weapon I had brought with me. I always walk around with a bullet in my mouth. I opened the safety of the gun and fired 2-3 shots at my brother Mehmet Mutlu for intimidation, but I do not know where the shots hit. Later, the crowd there took the gun from my hand. My brothers Ahmet Mutlu, Abdullah Mutlu, Abdülbaki Mutlu, and Muhammed Cemal G. attacked me. They all beat me together. I was saved from this beating by my uncle's son, K.T., who is a police officer; he took me into the mosque's toilet with my friend Erol. When the police arrived, they handed me over to the police. I regret what I did very much; I succumbed to a momentary anger. I had no intention of harming my brother or anyone else. I have no situation to deny. I regret what I did very much," it was learned.
