2 protesters fell into a coma Saturday after severe head injuries during demos in Deux Sevres.
A protester's family in France on Wednesday filed a complaint for attempted murder, according to media reports.
Two people were severely injured and fell into coma on Saturday due to violent clashes between protesters and security forces at Deux-Sevres, in western France, daily Le Figaro said.
The parents of one of them, a 32-year-old protester originally from Toulouse who had a serious head injury, filed a complaint for attempted murder and deliberate obstructing to rescuers' arrival.
The prosecutor of Rennes is in charge of the file due to its competence, Le Figaro added.
The second protester who fell into a coma, a 34-year-old person, also suffers from head injuries, media reported.
The agricultural union Peasant Confederation, association Bassines Non Merci, and ecology movement Soulevements de la Terre blamed the security forces for extremely violent intervention, noting that 200 people were injured, including 40 severely. -
