Iran has announced that it will not allow planes coming from Lebanon to land in Tehran until its own planes are permitted to land in Beirut.
Iran's Ambassador to Beirut, Mojtaba Emani, stated in an interview with state television that Iran will only allow the landing of planes if its own planes are permitted to land in Beirut.
"ISRAEL THREATENED A PASSENGER PLANE"
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baghaei stated that Israel threatened a passenger plane carrying Lebanese citizens from Tehran, emphasizing that this has caused "disruptions to the country's normal flights to Beirut Airport," and that it constitutes a violation of international law.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Israeli Army Spokesman Avichai Adraee claimed on social media the other day that the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and Hezbollah were transporting money to Hezbollah via international flights.
Following the statement, Lebanon did not allow a passenger plane belonging to Mahan Air, expected to depart from Tehran to Beirut. It was reported that Iran also did not permit two planes sent from Lebanon to pick up Lebanese citizens waiting at Imam Khomeini International Airport to go to Beirut.
