Iran executed a person on charges of espionage on behalf of Israel's intelligence service, Mossad. Chief Justice Seyyid Kazım Musevi noted that the convict began intelligence cooperation with Israel in October 2023 and was arrested in February 2024, confessed to his crime, and was sentenced to death following the legal process.

According to a report by the Mizan News Agency, which is affiliated with the Iranian judiciary, the chief justice of the province, Seyyid Kazım Musevi, stated that the identity of the individual, whose name has not been disclosed, was executed on Saturday in a prison located in the central province of Qom.
