Israel has dealt a significant blow to Hezbollah by detonating beepers in Lebanon through a cyber attack, which has resonated widely around the world. Following this, Israel's air and ground assaults on Lebanon turned the region into a veritable fire ring. After the deaths of Nasrallah and numerous Hezbollah commanders in Lebanon, Iran retaliated against Israel with hundreds of ballistic missiles. In response to the successive threats from Israel, Iran has gone on high alert and taken new measures for the upcoming attack. By banning electronic communication devices on passenger planes, Iran has made it clear that it expects a cyber attack from Israel. PASSENGERS TRAVELING BY PLANE HAVE BEEN WARNEDFollowing the attacks on Lebanon, Iran has imposed a new ban covering electronic communication devices. In a statement, Iran's Civil Aviation Organization Spokesman Cafer Yazerlu announced that, in order to ensure flight safety, the carrying of all electronic communication devices, except for mobile phones, such as beepers and radios, on passenger planes is prohibited. Yazerlu warned passengers traveling by plane that the ban on beepers and radios also applies to the cargo and cabin sections of the aircraft, urging travelers not to bring these devices onto the plane.
