Iranian media published a list of 7 important bridges in 5 regional countries, hinting at retaliation following the US-Israel attack on the B1 Bridge in the city of Karaj.
The US and Israel, continuing their attacks on Iran, targeted B1, known as "the highest bridge in the Middle East," in an airstrike on the city of Karaj near Tehran in Alborz province.
THEY IDENTIFIED 7 BRIDGES IN 5 COUNTRIES AS TARGETS Following the attack, Iran signaled retaliation. Iran's semi-official Fars News Agency published a list of significant bridges in regional countries that Iran could target.
The list included the Sheikh Jabir Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Marine Bridge in Kuwait, the King Fahd Bridge located in Al Khobar, which connects Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, the Sheikh Zayed Bridge and Sheikh Khalifa Bridge in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the King Hussein Bridge in Jordan, and the Adam Bridge and Abdun Bridge also in Jordan.
After the US and Israel attack, B1 Bridge THE US AND ISRAEL'S ATTACK ON B1 BRIDGE Elburz Province Deputy Governor Kudretullah Seyf, who made a statement regarding the US and Israel's attack, said that 2 people lost their lives and many others were injured. Seyf reported that the middle section of the bridge was completely destroyed and that the injured were transferred to health centers, adding that search and rescue teams were continuing their work in the area and that security operations were also proceeding rapidly.
Seyf noted that there were power outages in some areas during the attack, stating, "With all our strength, we will rebuild this bridge after the security process is completed. This project will be realized with domestic resources and the contributions of the country's best engineers."
