The Iranian press reported that the Tehran administration rejected the US proposal to end the war, describing it as "surrender."
According to reports on Iran's state television, the Tehran administration instead demanded that the US "pay war reparations to Iran, fully recognize Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, lift sanctions, and return seized Iranian assets."
The semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported that Iran's response called on the US to "end the naval blockade, provide guarantees of no further attacks, and lift the ban on Iranian oil sales."
"NO ONE IN IRAN IS PLANNING TO PLEASE TRUMP"
After US President Donald Trump deemed the Tehran administration's response "unacceptable," an Iranian official made striking statements.
The Iranian official said, "Trump's response changes nothing. If he's unhappy, that's even better. No one in Iran is planning to please Trump. The negotiation team prepares plans only for the Iranian people. Trump does not like reality; that's why he keeps losing to Iran."
