An operation was carried out against two foreign oil tankers identified as carrying smuggled fuel in Iran. In a statement by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, it was stated, "In the operation conducted this morning in the Persian Gulf, two foreign oil tankers named 'Star 1' and 'Vintag', linked to fuel smuggling networks, were seized. More than 3 million liters of smuggled fuel were confiscated from the tankers, which were determined to be involved in organized smuggling, and 25 crew members were detained."
