In a note found on the body of a homeless man who passed away in a hospital in Amasya, it was revealed that he donated his house and money in the bank to the Mehmetçik Foundation.

Yaşar Uzun (70), who was receiving treatment in the cardiovascular surgery department of Amasya University Sabuncuoğlu Şerefeddin Training and Research Hospital, passed away yesterday.

Employees who collected the belongings of Uzun, who had no relatives, came across a handwritten note titled 'this is my will.'

In the note written 11 years ago, it was stated that Uzun wanted the money that was left over to be used for funeral expenses and that he donated his house in Gökmedrese Neighborhood and a sum of money in the bank to the Mehmetçik Foundation. Uzun, whose body was taken to the morgue by the officials, will be buried in Memidede Cemetery.
