Following the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran, mutual conflicts continued as Iranian drones targeted Dubai International Airport. Flights at the airport were temporarily suspended after the attack.
The long-standing tension between the USA and Iran, along with ongoing diplomatic efforts, culminated in the morning of February 28 when Israel, in collaboration with the USA, struck Iran. While mutual attacks between the parties have been ongoing for days, this morning Dubai International Airport, the most important transportation hub of the United Arab Emirates, was hit by Iranian drones.
ALL FLIGHTS SUSPENDED
All flights at Dubai, one of the busiest airports in the world, have been suspended until further notice. International flights are canceling their landing plans and being redirected to alternative routes.
CAN HAVE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES
Due to Dubai's central role in global air transportation, this disruption can have serious consequences not only regionally but also globally. The closure of air corridors between Europe and Asia is causing disruptions in logistics chains and delays in trade flows.
ATTACK WITH NEW GENERATION MISSILES ON TEL AVIV AND SURROUNDINGS
On the other hand, a new phase has been reached in the war, which has entered its 8th day. Iran, which carried out the 23rd wave of the "Vaat-i Sadık 4" operation, launched attacks on Tel Aviv and its surroundings with new generation solid/liquid-fueled missiles such as Kheibar, Khorramshahr-4, Fattah, and drones. Footage from the region showed that there were consecutive large explosions in Tel Aviv and smoke filled the sky.
NEW WAVE OF ATTACK ON TEHRAN
Following the announcement by the Israeli army that a new wave of attacks targeting Iran's capital Tehran had begun, explosion sounds were heard in the capital Tehran.
Smoke was seen rising from some areas of Tehran, where the sounds of aircraft continued to be heard intermittently. According to local media, the area near Mehrabad Airport was hit in the attack.
