US CONSULATE HIT
Most recently, Iran targeted the US Consulate located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with a drone. Images from the region showed that a fire broke out after the attack and smoke was rising from the compound.
NO CASUALTIES OR INJURIES
In a statement from the Dubai Media Office, it was reported that no negative incidents occurred at the compound. The statement included, "Authorities reported that the fire caused by the drone attack on the US Consulate in Dubai has been brought under control." It was conveyed that there were no injuries in the incident.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations between Tehran and Washington continue, Israel and the USA launched a military attack on Iran on February 28. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel. In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed. The Iranian Red Crescent announced that 787 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
