Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the tensions in his country need to be resolved, warning that otherwise Iran could be fragmented. Pezeshkian expressed that they are making efforts to ensure internal unity in the country.

The Iranian President said, "If God forbid, an incident occurs in the country, Azerbaijan will become a state on its own, Kurdistan will become a state on its own, Khuzestan will be different, Balochistan will be different, meaning Iran will no longer exist. This will turn into chaos. We do not want chaos in our country. We want to ensure unity in the country."
