Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called on countries, including Turkey, that are continuing diplomatic efforts to stop the war. Pezeshkian stated, "Some countries have begun mediation efforts. Our response to them is clear. We are not your counterpart. The mediators should address those who have ignited the flames of war by underestimating the Iranian people."

The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, stated that some countries have initiated mediation efforts, emphasizing that the recipients of the mediation call should be those who ignited the fires of war.

"THE RECIPIENTS OF MEDIATORS SHOULD BE THOSE WHO STARTED THE WAR"

Pezeshkian made a statement regarding the issue on the social media account of the US-based X company. The Iranian President said, "Some countries have started mediation efforts. Our response to them is clear: We are committed to lasting peace in the region, but we do not hesitate to defend our country's honor and authority. The recipients of the mediators should be those who ignited the fires of war by underestimating the Iranian people."

US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN

Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.

In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed. It was reported that more than a thousand people lost their lives in the attacks that occurred in many cities across the country.
