THEY WILL ACQUIRE A DEFENSE SYSTEM
The Iraqi Cabinet held its weekly meeting under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Mohammed Shiya al-Sudani. As part of the decision made here, the Ministry of Interior was authorized to purchase a defense system to be used against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
UAVS HAVE BECOME A SECURITY ISSUE
In recent years, attacks carried out with unmanned aerial vehicles and rockets, especially around military bases, diplomatic missions, and security facilities in Iraq, have become one of the significant topics on the security agenda.
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations continue between Tehran and Washington, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in some regional countries, including Qatar, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, were killed.
According to Iranian officials, 1,332 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
