The U.S. Department of Defense reported that since the start of attacks by the U.S. and Israel against Iran, approximately 140 U.S. soldiers have been injured, 8 of them seriously. Meanwhile, it was stated that 108 of the injured soldiers have returned to duty.
The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced the number of U.S. soldiers injured since the start of attacks on Iran in collaboration with Israel.
SO FAR, 140 U.S. SOLDIERS HAVE BEEN INJURED, 8 OF WHOM ARE IN SERIOUS CONDITION
Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell stated, "Approximately 140 U.S. soldiers have been injured in 10 days of continuous attacks since the beginning of Operation Epic Fury." Parnell noted that most of these soldiers were lightly injured, with 8 in serious condition, and that the injured are receiving high-level treatment. Additionally, Parnell expressed that 108 of the injured soldiers have returned to duty.
IT WAS REPORTED THAT 7 SOLDIERS HAD DIED
In a statement made by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) on March 9, it was noted that the number of U.S. soldiers who died during Iran's retaliatory attacks against U.S. and Israeli strikes had risen to 7.
U.S.-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
On February 28, while negotiations continued between Tehran and Washington, Israel and the U.S. launched a military attack on Iran. In response, Iran retaliated with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where U.S. bases are located, in addition to Israel. In the U.S.-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed. According to Iranian officials, 1,332 people have lost their lives in the U.S.-Israel attacks.
