The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, reported that the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) facilitated the employment of 1 million 201 thousand 927 citizens in the first 10 months of the year.
Işıkhan stated in a statement on his social media account that İŞKUR published the October Statistics Bulletin, which includes data on its services covering the January-October period of the year.
He mentioned that 2 million 615 thousand 492 individual consultations were conducted within the scope of job and career counseling services, saying, "Between January and October 2024, we facilitated the employment of 1 million 201 thousand 927 citizens. We will continue to stand by our job-seeking citizens and employers through our public employment agency, İŞKUR."
According to the visual shared by Işıkhan regarding İŞKUR services, employers made 2 million 235 thousand 961 job applications in the first 10 months of the year.
Additionally, 51 thousand 934 people benefited from job clubs, while 57 thousand 797 people benefited from the active labor force program.
