The Palestinian Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip announced that the Israeli army has directly targeted and destroyed at least 19 homes, including civilians, in the Tuffah neighborhood and the Jabalia al-Balad and al-Nazla areas in northern Gaza since this morning.
Israeli attacks in Gaza continue. Ismail al-Sawabite, the Director General of the Palestinian Government Media Office in the Gaza Strip, made a statement regarding the recent Israeli attacks.
"DESTROYED 19 HOMES ALONG WITH THEIR INHABITANTS"
Al-Sawabite stated, "Israel has committed a war crime by directly targeting the homes of civilians in these areas. The occupier has destroyed 19 homes along with their inhabitants as of this morning, as part of the genocide war it has been waging against our people for over 21 months."
Al-Sawabite emphasized that Israel's deliberate targeting of densely populated residential areas "completely disregards international humanitarian law and all treaties aimed at protecting civilians during wartime," stating, "These attacks aim for mass slaughter, terrorism, forced displacement, and genocide."
43 PEOPLE KILLED IN MORNING ATTACKS
Al-Sawabite reported that since this morning's intermittent airstrikes by Israel, 43 Palestinians, including women, children, and displaced civilians, have lost their lives, and many others have been injured.
"HEALTH SYSTEM ON THE BRINK OF COLLAPSE"
Pointing out that the attacks coincided with the collapse of the health system in Gaza, Al-Sawabite said, "Israel has rendered 38 hospitals and dozens of health centers out of service; it has also killed hundreds of health workers. These attacks aim to deprive civilians of even their most basic health rights."
CALL TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY
Al-Sawabite called on the international community to "break its shameful silence" and take action, holding Israel directly responsible for all these crimes.
He urged the United Nations and relevant organizations to "stop these war crimes and force the perpetrators to account," emphasizing the need for independent investigation commissions to bring Israeli leaders before international justice.
THE TOLL OF GENOCIDE IS INCREASING
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with the support of the United States, has been implementing policies of massacre, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement in the Gaza Strip.
The Tel Aviv administration, which ignores the decisions of the International Court of Justice, has so far led to the deaths or injuries of approximately 190,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women. At least 11,000 people are missing, and hundreds of thousands have been displaced.
