Israeli Soldier Injured In West Bank

Soldier suffers minor injury as Palestinian attempts to take his weapon.

An Israeli soldier was wounded on Wednesday after a Palestinian tried to take his weapon in the eastern West Bank, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported.
"An Israeli soldier was lightly injured when a Palestinian attempted to hijack his weapon in [the village of] Nabi Musa, south of Jericho," the news outlet said.
No further details were given about the fate of the Palestinian.
Tensions have been running high in the Palestinian territories since last week after an Israeli court ordered the evictions of Palestinian families in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of East Jerusalem.
