Istanbul Airport emerged as the busiest airport in Europe with an average of 1,438 flights per day between September 23 and 29. Amsterdam Schiphol and Paris Charles de Gaulle airports follow behind.

The "European Aviation Report" published by the European Air Navigation Safety Organization (EUROCONTROL) for the period of September 23-29 has been released.

According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked first among the busiest airports in Europe during this period with an average of 1438 flights per day.

ANOTHER AIRPORT FROM TURKEY IS ALSO ON THE LIST

Following Istanbul Airport, Amsterdam Schiphol with 1437 flights, Paris Charles de Gaulle with 1373 flights, and London Heathrow with 1328 flights were next. Antalya Airport also ranked 10th on the list with 916 flights per day.
