After the warning from the General Directorate of Meteorology, snow fell in the high areas of Thrace. It was stated that snowfall would continue in some places in the region where nighttime temperatures dropped to zero.
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for heavy rain and mixed rain and snow in the high areas of Edirne, Kırklareli, and Tekirdağ, where light snowfall has been observed. In the region, where nighttime temperatures have dropped to zero degrees, daytime temperatures were measured at 5 degrees in Edirne and Tekirdağ, and 4 degrees in Kırklareli.
The areas of Kadın Kule and Jandarma Kule in the Demirköy district of Kırklareli were covered in white due to snowfall. In the Saray district of Tekirdağ, light snowfall that started in the afternoon continued intermittently. In the high areas of Edirne, there were also occasional light snowfalls.
It has been stated that light snowfall will continue in some areas of the region.
