The entrance of Fenerbahçe fans to the stadium was not allowed for the Super League match to be played between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe. The decision was made during the Trabzon Provincial Sports Security Board meeting.
The Trabzon Provincial Sports Security Board Meeting was held in the Governor's Meeting Hall with the participation of board members, chaired by Governor Tahir Şahin. According to a statement from the Turkish Sports Writers Association (TSYD) Trabzon Branch, it was deemed appropriate not to allow the yellow-blue fans into the stadium at the request of the host club.
YELLOW-BLUE FANS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED
During the meeting, where necessary security measures were discussed, the works carried out by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality and the maroon-blue club officials for necessary traffic arrangements were shared to ensure that fans do not face any issues around the stadium.
Governor Şahin stated that traffic congestion would be minimized and expressed his belief that fans would experience a football evening focused on the game.
