In the quarter-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast was eliminated from the tournament after losing 3-2 to Egypt. Christ Oulai, the young star of Trabzonspor who plays for Ivory Coast, could not hold back his tears of sadness at the end of the match.
The quarter-final of the tournament hosted by Morocco, organized by the African Football Confederation, saw Egypt face Ivory Coast. Egypt won the match with a score of 3-2.
EGYPT WINS IN A 5-GOAL MATCH
The goals that brought victory to Egypt were scored by Omar Marmoush in the 4th minute, Rami Rabia in the 32nd minute, and Mohamed Salah in the 52nd minute. The goals for Ivory Coast came from Ahmed Fatouh (own goal) in the 40th minute and Guela Doue in the 73rd minute. With this result, Egypt, the winning team, advanced to the semi-finals.

Christ Inao Oulai from Trabzonspor and Yahia Fofana from Çaykur Rizespor started the match in Ivory Coast's starting eleven.
