In the latest election survey conducted in Istanbul, which President Erdoğan describes as "My love, my passion," between January 5-18 with 2,830 participants, the CHP's vote rate was determined to be 33.1%, while the AK Party's vote rate was 30.8%.
ORC Research shared the results of its latest election survey conducted in Istanbul with the public. In the survey that asked, "If there were a general election this Sunday, which party would you vote for?" the CHP emerged as the leading party.
THE DIFFERENCE IS 3 POINTS
In the research conducted between January 15-18 with 2,830 participants across Istanbul, the proportion of those who said they would vote for the CHP was measured at 33.1%. With this result, the main opposition party ranked first in the survey. The AK Party came in second with 30.8%.
According to the survey results, the parties' vote shares in Istanbul are ranked as follows:
- CHP 33.1%
- AK Party 30.8%
- DEM Party 8.3%
- GOOD Party 5.7%
- MHP 5.5%
- Victory Party 4.3%
- New Welfare Party 2.9%
- BBP 2.2%
- YMP 1.9%
- TIP 1.5%
- Others 3.8%
ÖZDEMİR HAD SAID "WE ARE 2 POINTS AHEAD"
AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Abdullah Özdemir had previously stated in a statement, "The AK Party is currently the leading party in Istanbul. It has surpassed the CHP by a 2-point margin."
