The Istanbul Festival continues to provide a music feast to millions at Festival Park Yenikapı in its 3rd year. Jason Derulo will perform on the evening of August 12th with pulse-raising dance choreographies. The team from Haberler.com also participated in the excitement by attending the meeting between the famous artist and the press before the concert.
With his high-tempo performance, Jason Derulo will perform all his hit songs, including the 2009 summer hit "Whatcha Say," the record-breaking "Swalla" on Youtube, and "Wiggle" and "Slow Low" that he performed with the famous rapper Snoop Dogg, accompanied by pulse-raising dance choreographies on the evening of August 12th.
"WE MADE SPECIAL PREPARATIONS, IT WILL BE AN UNFORGETTABLE CONCERT"
Derulo, who had breakfast with the press before the concert, answered the questions directed to him. Derulo, who stated that he prepared one of his best performances in his career for tomorrow's concert, said, "I have very talented musicians and dancers in my team. We made very special preparations for the Istanbul concert. It will be an unforgettable concert for everyone. We will do everything we can to keep the dance and music alive."
Regarding how he keeps his performance alive in his music career of over 10 years, Derulo said, "I always have the desire to be better in my work. When I look at my old concert photos and videos, I say to myself, 'I can always do better than this.' I am never completely satisfied with what I do. Adopting this character prevents you from feeling completely fulfilled and makes you constantly want to learn something new."
Derulo, who touched on the human dramas in the world, said, "No matter where in the world, I share the pain of everyone who experiences pressure from within and outside and is exposed to war. Every day when I turn on the television, I see bad things and people suffering. I am someone who believes in the healing power of music. That's why I am proud that my music is a part of people's happiness, regardless of the subject of the lyrics."
"HE WAS IMPRESSED BY THE TURKISH BREAKFAST"
Derulo, who stated that he has performed in Turkey a few times before, spoke about his impressions of Turkey, saying, "The thing I love the most and remember the most is always the Turkish breakfast. I have not seen any other country in the world that attaches so much importance to breakfast. Apart from that, I find Turkish music very authentic and pleasant. I want to surprise people by including elements of Turkish music in some of my future projects."
Regarding the transformation of the music industry from the past to the present, Derulo said, "The music industry is changing and evolving like everything else. If I say that music is going bad and it is not like it used to be, I give the impression of being old. I don't want to talk like that. I can say that the artistry in the performance and presentation of music has decreased to some extent today, but I see the change in the production and distribution of music positively, as it allows new musicians to make their voices heard more easily through digital platforms."
