Jordan's Prince Faisal Sworn In As Deputy To King Abdullah

Born on Oct. 11, 1963, Prince Faisal bin Hussein is 2nd son of late King Hussein bin Talal, brother of current King Abdullah II.

Jordan's Prince Faisal bin Hussein has been sworn in as a deputy to his brother King Abdullah II on Friday.

The oath-taking ceremony was held in the presence of ministerial officials, according to the kingdom's official Petra News Agency.

Born on Oct. 11, 1963, Prince Faisal bin Hussein is the second son of the late King Hussein bin Talal.

He has held many senior positions in the Royal Jordanian Air Force.

The prince also served as a major-general in the Jordanian Arab Army until Dec. 26, 2017.
