Citizens emerged from the tunnel they entered in sunny weather after 4 minutes, finding themselves in snowy conditions. The journey from summer to winter in the climate-changing tunnel was captured on camera.

The tunnel opened in 2023 between İbradı in Antalya and Derebucak district in Konya has connected Antalya to Konya and the inner regions, reducing the travel time from 4 hours to 2.5 hours.

Footage recorded by a citizen with a mobile phone while passing through the tunnel revealed the two different climates at both ends of the tunnel.

Driver Nazmi Şimşek stated, "There was a mild climate to the south of the 5-kilometer-long Demirkapı tunnel. To the north, on the Konya side, we encountered a beautiful snowy landscape. We had a lovely day with my children. It especially attracted the attention of people from Manavgat and Serik. It was a beautiful memory for us," he said.
