Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made a statement regarding the investigation initiated against İmamoğlu. No organ, authority, or person can give orders or instructions to the courts and judges in the exercise of judicial authority. Until a initiated investigation or prosecution results in a final judgment, attempting to influence prosecutors, judges, and courts through public verbal or written statements is incompatible with the Rule of Law and is a crime under the Turkish Penal Code.
