Karsu, who stated that her life entered a much happier phase after becoming a mother, expressed her feelings with the words, "It's a difficult but indescribable happiness." The artist described her child's developmental stage as the "magical two years" and drew attention by saying that she now wants to have 10 children.
Last year, singer Karsu married Mike Schrama, and she became a mother last April. Naming her son "Blues Dönmez Schrama," the artist has now come to the forefront with her heartfelt statements made during the Bambaşka Sohbetler program.
"BEING A MOTHER HAS MADE MY LIFE MUCH HAPPIER"
Karsu expressed that her life gained a completely different meaning after becoming a mother. Although she faced challenges, she stated that this process brought her indescribable joy, sharing her feelings with the following words: Yes, I don't sleep at night, it's hard. But I can't describe how happy I have become.
"AGE 2 IS NOT A DISASTER, IT'S A MAGICAL PERIOD"
Stating that she does not agree with the commonly expressed cliché of "terrible two," Karsu defined this period as "magical two" instead: The child feels like an individual during this process, learns their boundaries, and asks questions. Character is formed, and they can say 'no.' I really want this to happen.
"I WANT 10 CHILDREN"
The artist, who noted that the motherhood process has brought her great happiness, also sincerely shared how her thoughts on having children have changed. Previously expressing discomfort with the pressure to "have children," Karsu summarized her current perspective with the following words: "Well, as I mentioned at first, I really didn't know this. I thank all the Turkish aunts. They were insisting, 'Have children, have children.' I was saying, 'Hey, don't interfere with my life.' Now I say you were right, and I thank you. I want 10 now. 10."
