Elik, who said that child abusers do not have a specific criminal profile, stated, "I want to share a very serious research result with you. 30% of children who are sexually abused are abused by their families. A very high rate. What's worse is that 60% of them are subjected to this crime by an adult they know but who is not their family. Only 10% have been sexually abused by someone they don't know.".
