The Crown Prince of United Arab Emirates (UAE), Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Israel's Prime Minister Naftali Bennett discussed bilateral ties and regional issues on Friday.
Bennett called his counterpart for the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha and talked about strengthening cooperation and regional and international issues, according to UAE's official news agency, WAM.
The call marked their first meeting after Bennett took the office on June 14.
Al Nahyan reportedly congratulated Bennett for his new post and said he looks forward to working with him for the interests, development, stability and peace of the region.
The UAE normalized ties with Israel last September.
