Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a close associate of President Trump, made a brazen threat to Turkey, which wants the YPG terrorist organization to integrate into the Syrian army. Graham stated, "I will neither tolerate nor accept a brazen attack on our Kurdish allies, who are the main force in the destruction of ISIS. I am addressing the Syrian government and Turkey: make a wise choice."

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, known for his closeness to President Donald Trump, made a scandalous statement. Graham threatened Turkey through the YPG terrorist organization, which had to withdraw after carrying out attacks in Aleppo without integrating into the Syrian army.

US SENATOR: "TURKEY IS MOVING FURTHER AGAINST OUR KURDISH ALLIES"

Quoting the statement of Senator Jim Risch, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Graham said: "I fully support Senator Risch's call for restraint in Syria and I agree with this call; I believe the new Syrian government should be warned that human rights violations against minorities will not be tolerated. What is most disturbing is that I have received credible reports that the Syrian army forces and Turkey are moving further against our Kurdish allies. I believe this move will receive a strong response from the US.

"SYRIA AND TURKEY, MAKE A WISE CHOICE"

I support giving the new Syrian government a chance; however, I will neither tolerate nor accept a brazen attack against our Kurdish allies, who have been the main force in the destruction of the ISIS caliphate and have had a strong alliance with Israel for years. I call on the Syrian government and Turkey: make a wise choice."

WHAT HAPPENED?

After increasing attacks, the Syrian army conducted an operation on January 7 in the neighborhoods occupied by the YPG/SDF terrorist organization in Aleppo. Following the operation, the neighborhoods of Ashrafiyeh, Sheikh Maqsoud, and Beni Zayd in Aleppo were liberated from the occupation of the terrorist organization.

The Syrian army had declared the occupied areas west of the Euphrates River as a military zone due to the terrorist organization's buildup in the region and its kamikaze drone attacks on Aleppo from there, demanding that all armed elements withdraw to the east of the Euphrates. The terrorists later left Aleppo by bus.
