The house found a buyer in just 18 days and was sold for $4.35 million (approximately 153 million TL). The comedian had purchased the mansion in 2014 for $2.44 million (approximately 85 million TL). Thus, he made a profit of about $2 million (approximately 70 million TL).
58-year-old Louis C.K. has carried out extensive restoration and preservation work on the house over the years. He has essentially revitalized the home by preserving the original woodwork, six fireplaces, and the historic character.
A HOUSE FULL OF HISTORY
The English Tudor-style mansion, built in 1901, features 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms within an area of 5,000 square meters.
The house was also used in the past as a presidential summer residence for U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt and his assistant William McKinley.
Additionally, the first stage trial of "Peter Pan," written by J.M. Barrie, was also conducted on this property.
