Mahmut Abbas's proposal for Palestine receives a response from Trump:

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas expressed his readiness to work together to achieve a fair and comprehensive peace during a phone conversation with the new U.S. President Donald Trump. Trump stated that he would "work to stop the war" and looked forward to collaborating with all parties to "bring peace to the Middle East."

Re-elected as president in the USA, Trump spoke on the phone with Palestinian President Abbas. Abbas expressed his readiness to work with Trump to achieve a fair and comprehensive peace.

ABBAS CONGRATULATED TRUMP

According to a statement made by the Palestinian Authority regarding the meeting, Abbas congratulated Trump on his election victory and wished him good luck. Abbas stated during the meeting that he is "ready to work with Trump to achieve a fair and comprehensive peace based on international legitimacy."

"I WILL WORK TO STOP THE WAR"

Trump told Abbas that he would "work to stop the war" and looked forward to working with the leader of the Palestinian Authority and all relevant parties to "bring peace to the Middle East."
